Websites
While a visual designer at a local ad agency, my desk was in the web developer pod and that proximity fed me so much valuable cross knowledge! These are websites that I’ve designed in collaboration with developers who then do the coding and make them live.
ALL CLASSICAL PORTLAND: Underwriting + Sponsorship
The station needed a permanent spot for potential sponsors to access from anywhere to explore their options unaided. Working collaboratively with developer Dan Gonzalez, I synthesized the information from an existing pile of outdated marketing handouts into a user-friendly resource for anyone wanting to advertise with the station. Then I developed a visual system for a family of linked pdfs explaining in detail the specifics of each tier of sponsorship. Soon, the station underwriter’s job will be easier!
RECORDING INCLUSIVITY INITIATIVE
This brand new initiative has already started winning awards during the very first year! Before kickoff, I was asked to jump in and refresh their logo, branding, and print materials, and translate it all for the internet. Again collaborating with developer Dan Gonzalez, I designed this site to grow with the initiative and lead the way for regional chapters all over the world.
ICAN (International Children’s Arts Network)
ICAN is an online radio station with programming specifically geared towards kids to boost their creativity and appreciation of classical music. Their website was dry and needed a fun-injection. Working closely with their brand guide, I gave it a playful re-fresh and continue to generate graphics and illustrations to support their initiatives.
SHERLOCK HOLMES + THE WEST END HORROR
A Radiodrama
For this two-part radio drama produced by All Classical Portland, I designed a one page website for listeners to access in lieu of a program. The event was supposed to be a live performance at The Broadway Rose Theater, but with the pandemic dragging on into late 2020, it became a streaming event. I had already developed all the visuals for the corresponding marketing materials; a super gloppy text lockup with a spooky palette and haunted lampposts.
CARE ESSENTIALS by Kaiser Permanente
AGENCY: EROI
Working closely with the team at EROI, I designed an intuitive website intended to introduce the brand and help users easily book clinic appointments. Along the way, we produced a series of local photo shoots and developed a Digital Style Guide to further define Care Essentials for digital platforms. The branding and website has evolved since the launch (in 2017), but the foundation we built still shows.
